Spiral wedging porcelain.
I always make sure to wedge my clay before I throw. This process allows me to get to know the clay better, aligns my clay particles, and makes centering so much easier. It took me a while to get the hang of spiral wedging but with this method I can wedge even large amounts of clay. In this video I’m wedging about 3 pounds of clay.
