Nothing motivates me more than a deadline. I have just been working away in my studio, every minute I can to bring my best work to this show. I will have so many new things to show off and I’m totally excited about how everything has been coming out. My new work is centered on porcelain, lots of white, with bursts of color. Clean, modern shapes are incorporated in my new work. I will also be bringing new tableware lines as well as my Little Pottery collection!
July is going to be a busy, busy month! I’m also going to go to San Francisco to participate in the RCF wholesale event the weekend before the LA show. It will give me a chance to test the market and get some experience with meeting retailers. I just can’t wait to get out there again but until then, I’ll be busy finishing up my pottery in the studio and best of all this month…
I will be spending time with my family and best friends, camping! Yay! I hope to get some much needed rest and relaxation and some rejuvenation just before all this crazy selling. I am totally looking forward to some nature up in Sequoia’s Giant Forest, it’s such a magical place. I’m in need of a break soon from all this pottery making and hope to get the energy and good vibes from nature to keep me going this month.
